The cloud system associated with Isaac remains poorly organized and Saint Lucia fell between the rain bands of Isaac, hence the island has thus far not received the expected rainfall.

Isaac is forecast to move across the central Lesser Antilles and into the eastern Caribbean Sea Thursday, and then move across the eastern and central Caribbean Sea through Saturday. The primary concern in the short term is Hurricane Florence.

Hurricane Florence is expected to pack a potentially life-threatening punch as it continues its path toward the U.S. east coast. That means locals and their property could be punished with severe hurricane conditions for days, not hours.
