Zlatan Ibrahimovic was involved in a heated confrontation with Michael Bradley after scoring the 500th goal of his career in LA Galaxy's 5-3 defeat against Toronto FC.

With his LA Galaxy side trailing 3-0 in the first half against Toronto, Ibrahimovic directed the ball in off the post with a incredible, roundhouse spinning kick from a Jonathan dos Santos long ball just before half time. Ibrahimovic's goal, which came minutes before half-time, sparked what had seemed to be a Galaxy comeback, with goals from Ola Kamara and Rolf Fletscher drawing them level in the second half.

The former Manchester United striker became the third current active player, only after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, to score 500 career goals.

Fomer Sweden International Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a stunning goal in the MLS on Sunday.

In New Bern, along the coast, homes were completely surrounded by water, and rescuers used inflatable boats to reach people. More than 60 people had to be rescued in another town as a cinderblock motel collapsed at the height of the storm's fury.

"I am happy for Toronto because they will be remembered as my 500th victim".

Ibrahimovic, 36, has made 747 appearances while scoring 438 goals for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris St-Germain, United and LA Galaxy.

Ibrahimovic's goal was greeted by a standing ovation from the opposition fans but the Swede dismissed the gesture as a run of the mill response to his customary brilliance. It reminds me of a goal I did in Ajax.
