The Arsenal playmaker equalised for his side shortly before half-time against Leicester City at home on Monday with a fine first-time strike.

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil celebrates scoring his side's first goal of the game during the Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium, London.

Arsenal came from behind to record a 3-1 win over Leicester City in Monday night's Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are now fifth and will move level on points with Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea with a win.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are reportedly waiting until the end of the season before they make the move for Alberto Moreno so as to get him on a free transfer.

Bellerin just gets in over Ricardo for Leicester.

The constant pressure soon paid off as Leicester took the lead, albeit in fortuitous circumstances, as Ndidi fed Ben Chilwell and his pass deflected in off Bellerin, wrong-footing Leno in the process. Still, Leicester proved pesky and almost put themselves back in front in the 58th minute as Wilfred Ndidi headed a corner straight into the crossbar.

Arsenal probably should have had a fourth, but Lacazette's look on the doorstep was smothered well by Schmeichel.

Aubameyang and Matteo Guendouzi both came off the Arsenal bench in the 61st minute, while Marc Albrighton replaced Iheanacho for Leicester as the two managers made alterations.

"It was a good match from Mesut but I believe in every player and every different system and position".

Emery has favoured an attacking 4-2-3-1 formation at home and may also recall Aaron Ramsay as part of his line-up with Heinrich Mkhitaryan possibly making way.
