The Avatars will appear across Xbox One as well as activity feeds, Friend blocks on the Home screen, leaderboards, profiles, and other locations, as they will become a big part of the Xbox ecosystem going forward. Read about them detail below. The new Xbox Avatars support a range of different body types, with clothing created to fit them all.

These new updates are immensely powerful, with more than 16 million color options for nearly all the Avatar items.

After securing the right hardware, enabling Dolby Vision is relatively simple on the Xbox One. The new avatars include all body types, moods, items from games, and more. You can now choose to have your Xbox Avatar across your entire Xbox One profile and console, and even use it as your gamerpic. People who prefer the old Avatar system can continue to use it through existing Avatar app.

Microsoft has added an Xbox Skill for Cortana and Alexa, which allows gamers to interact with their Xbox through Cortana and Alexa-enabled devices. For example, if you have the Xbox skill enabled on your Echo just say "Alexa, launch Forza Horizon 4" and this command will automatically turn on your console, sign you in, and launch Forza Horizon 4. Look for the Xbox Skill in the Alexa Skill Store or the Cortana Skill Store to get started, and it's easy to set up from there. Microsoft is adding Dolby Vision support to the Xbox One, so you will be able to stream Dolby Vision HDR content with your Xbox One, as long as your TV actually supports the latest Dolby Vision tech.

Status Orange weather warning for Galway extended into Friday evening
The rain is accompanied by strong winds, which when combined with high tides may lead to some coastal impacts due to large waves. Rainfall totals could reach as high as 150mm over the Brecon Beacons, almost as high as the monthly average of 170mm for Wales.

Dolby Vision HDR video streaming support has arrived for premium Netflix subscribers.

Finally, Microsoft added five more languages to Narrator, including Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, and Dutch. "We're also adding an Australian version of English language for Narrator, so Australian users will no longer have to select USA or U.K. English to use Narrator", the Xbox team explained today.

Ever since the Xbox One launched in 2013, fans of the platform have been asking about avatars. Microsoft hasn't announced the features for that though, so there should be more news soon.
