Along with all of these smartphone snappers Samsung has also included some clever software to help users make the majority.

The hotly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A9 will feature four cameras each with a different use - an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, a 10 megapixel telephoto camera, a 24 megapixelmain camera and a 5 megapixel depth camera, aimed at the "Instagram generation". Interestingly, there is only one front facing 8MP camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) flaunts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display on the front which carries a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

Samsung describes the Galaxy A9 as the world's first "quad-camera" phone. This dual-SIM smartphone comes laden with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

You'd normally expect to see such a suite of snappers on Sammy's flagship Galaxy handsets, but the Galaxy S9 only has two rear cameras, as does the Note 9. Do you think Samsung will be able to pull it off?

Last month, an oxygen leak was found in the International Space Station that Russia's space chief said was caused deliberately. They were to dock at the orbiting outpost six hours later, but the booster suffered a failure minutes after the launch.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is powered by a 3800mAh. The third camera is the main 24MP sensor with a wide f/1.7 aperture, while the fourth camera is a 5MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The Galaxy A9 (2018) also supports Bixby, Samsung Pay and Samsung Health apps as seen on other high-end Galaxy devices.

If four rear cameras are a little too many for you, Samsung Malaysia just announced the availability of the Galaxy A7 (2018), and this smartphone only has three rear cameras.

The Korean company's new phone will also feature mobile payment capabilities and expandable storage of up to 512GB. Samsung is not the first to take this route, many smartphones have offered multiple cameras including those from Huawei which featured monochrome sensors to enhance the image from the main camera and provide depth effects.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 will be available in the United Kingdom for £549 (~$724) in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue, and Bubblegum Pink starting in November 2018. Similar to the P20 Pro, the Galaxy A9 (2018) features a gradient around back that goes from pink, blue, or black at the bottom to a lighter hue of those colors at the top.
