The ODI series against West Indies begins on October 21 in Guwahati before moving to Visakhapatnam on October 24.

Mohammed Shami, Khaleel Ahmed, and Shardul Thakur have also been included in the Indian squad. "We are looking for a third pacer, and preferably a fourth in England", chairman of selectors MSK Prasad said on Thursday after announcing the 14-member squad. Also back in the mix is fast bowler Mohammad Shami, who last played an ODI over a year ago. "More than the runs he scored, the composure and the body language he showed are the kind of things we look for from a player", Arun said. Both played the Asia Cup but were rested for the Test series against Windies. He replaces Dinesh Karthik, who was the backup keeper during the Asia Cup that India clinched last month, for the seventh time overall. "We have given a few opportunities to Karthik".

The middle-order batting concern remains but Prasad said the team management "is very close to sorting out that problem".

Verne Troyer’s Cause of Death Revealed
The clip showed a drunk Troyer riding around on his motorized wheelchair naked before urinating in the corner of a room. He was reportedly being treated for alcohol poisoning because his blood alcohol level was triple the 0.08 limit.

"The quality of the (SG) balls used to be quite high before and I don't understand the reason why it has gone down because Dukes ball is still good quality, Kookaburra is still good quality", Kohli said ahead of the second Test in Hyderabad. While Pandya had injured his lower back in the Asia Cup match against Pakistan to be ruled out of the tournament, Jadhav won India the title with an injured hamstring. Kohli's performance against West Indies in the first Test hinted that the Run Machine is perfectly fit and he might not be inclined to take any further rest.

Squad (for first two ODIs): Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni (wicket-keeper), Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Khaleel Ahmed, Shardul Thakur, KL Rahul.
