Michael Bublé has chose to "retire" from music and the spotlight as his "perception of life" has changed since his son's cancer diagnosis.

He shared his reason for the move by saying: "I don't have the stomach for it anymore".

With a new album, titled Love, on the way, Buble explained that this is his time to step away from music, wanting to leave at the "very top" after making the "perfect record".

During an emotional "last interview" Michael opened up about the devastating impact Noah's illness had on the couple.

The "Haven't Met You Yet" artist is leaving the entertainment world after Noah's battle with cancer. I don't know if I can even get through this conversation without crying.

Noah is now in remission and his family are slowly returning back to normal life.

Fair to say. if Michael really does leave it will be a huge loss to music.

Federer forced to battle again on way to Shanghai quarters
Roger Federer struggled past an inspired Roberto Bautista Agut to reach the Shanghai Masters quarter-finals. I always say when you win a Slam in any season, it's actually a very good season already.

Speaking about the process, he said: "It wasn't as straightforward as, 'My son's recovered, I should make an album.' I'd told my manager I wanted to take a ten-year sabbatical, so I could hang out and be bad". But my whole beings changed. "I'm retiring", he added.

The Haven't Met You Yet hitmaker has chose to step back from the spotlight following the release of his latest album Love after a tough few years when his son was diagnosed with cancer.

'I'll never put the ego of the job ahead of my family, ' he told The Sunday Mirror's Notebook Magazine. They came over, we partied, and we said, 'Let's play some music.' I thought, 'Wow!

I decided I'd never use social media again, and I never have.

"And I've never lost control of my emotions in public", he said.

Michael and Luisana have two other children - 11-week-old Vida and Elias, two. So naturally, we're devastated to find out that the man himself has just confirmed that he is officially giving up his music career. Maybe when you let go, maybe that's when it comes back to you. "This is my last interview", he announced. "Families more important and any real fan would understand... just so glad I had the opportunity to see you at the O2... a moment I will cherish forever!"
