TMZ first reported the news that Gomez was hospitalized twice in the past few weeks and is now at an East Coast psychiatric facility receiving dialectical behavior therapy. It was a family member who took Selena to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. When doctors told her she couldn't leave the hospital, the sources said she had an "emotional breakdown" and attempted to rip IV tubes out of her arm.

Selena will be receiving dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), TMZ further reports.

A source told ET that the singer has been struggling with depression since undergoing a kidney transplant previous year. "She realized she needed to seek additional help for her ongoing emotional issues", People adds.

As for Gomez, she's getting the treatment she needs after several health setbacks.

We're sending Selena lots of love and hope she is doing well. She is now being treated at East Coast psychiatric facility. The "It Ain't Me" singer started giving away her clothes on Instagram and sent a freaky message to Jennifer Lopez on Instagram, which was the final straw before announcing a social media hiatus.

Channing Tatum And Jessie J Are Reportedly Dating
Channing has been spotted at several of Jessie's concerts in Seattle and Salt Lake City. Additionally, an insider told People on Tuesday that their relationship is "very new".

Days earlier she opened up to fans in an hour-long Instagram Live session, in which she revealed 'depression was my life 'for five years straight'.

Gomez was just 18 when she started dating Bieber back in 2010.

She was previously admitted to rehab in 2014, following her Lupus diagnosis, and later said it was the 'hardest but best thing she's ever done'. "Kindness and encouragement only for a bit!"

She also visited Lovato in the hospital before her own downward spiral began again.

"Just remember, negative comments can hurt anybody's feelings".
