It's not the first time that Selena has been treated for mental health issues with DBT.

Selena Gomez has had a very tough and emotional past few weeks.

However, weeks later the singer had to be re-admitted as her low blood cell count persisted. It was a family member who took Selena to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Gomez was reportedly taken to a treatment facility on the east coast where she is undergoing dialectical behavior therapy, which Psychology Today reports can be used to treat everything from borderline personality disorder to depression, explaining the therapy is "thought to have the capability of helping those who wish to improve their ability to regulate emotions, tolerate distress and negative emotion, be mindful and present in the given moment, and communicate and interact effectively with others".

She was previously admitted to rehab in 2014, following her Lupus diagnosis, and later said it was the 'hardest but best thing she's ever done'.

The Yankees immediately challenged and, with a sellout crowd standing and hoping, the out call was upheld after a 63-second look. To open their league championship series, the Red Sox and Houston Astros are sticking with their rotation from the ALDS.

The "Bad Liar" hitmaker tried to leave shortly afterwards but was told she couldn't, prompting Selena to have a "meltdown" and "freak out" as she tried ripping drips out of her arm.

The Heart Wants What It Wants hitmaker announced on September 24 that she was taking a break from social media.

"Kindness and encouragement only for a bit!"

Selena also battles depression and anxiety, which she revealed during Instagram Live sessions on September 21 and 22. Soon after, she left all social media channels.

Days earlier she opened up to fans in an hour-long Instagram Live session, in which she revealed 'depression was my life 'for five years straight'.
