The 2018 Tata Tigor (facelift) should help the company tap the surge in new auto sales during this year's festive period. Now they have previewed the 2018 Tata Tigor TVC with Hrithik in the driver's seat.

Today's launch comes more than a year and a half after the vehicle's debut.

Available in both petrol and diesel variant, the price of the petrol model starts at Rs 5.2 lakh and will be available across all authorised Tata Motors sales outlets, as per a company release. Watch the TVC below. The new sedan comes with exclusively styled exterior and updated interior cabin while retaining the same 1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.05L Revotorq diesel engines. Bumper updates include chrome finish, and then there are clear lens tail lamps along, and a chrome belt line.

The vehicle is also expected to come in a couple of new colour options, new alloy wheels and possibly even improved safety features, compared to the outgoing model. The new sedan is offered in six exterior paint schemes: Egyptian Blue, Roman Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Pearlescent White and Titanium Grey. Tata has also introduced a new top-end variant called XZ+ which slots above the XZ (O). The package is further sweetened with the inclusion of power folding wing mirrors, power windows, a shark fin antenna and new alloy wheels.

A larger touchscreen infotainment system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and MirrorLink. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder diesel that makes 69 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm @ 1,800-3,000 rpm comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
