Taking to Instagram - does he do anything else these days? - he revealed the first poster for the new live-action remake of Aladdin.

Check out the poster below. Among those in cast will be Will Smith, who plays the wisecracking, pop culture reference spouting Genie, voiced in the original by the late Robin Williams.

Film by film, Disney is going through your childhood favourites and remaking them in live-action - and next year will bring three new takes on their animated classics. It features the film's iconic lamp and a secret about what awaits inside it, as well as the warning "Choose wisely". It is set for release on May 24th 2019. Aladdin is hitting theaters some time in May.

Alongside increasing tariffs, communications between the two sides have become more and more strained in recent weeks. We demand that the United States side stop this kind of misguided action.

Mena Massoud will be playing Aladdin, while Power Rangers star Naomi Scott has secured the role of Princess Jasmine.

The new film is directed by Guy Ritchie with a screenplay by Ritchie, John August, and Vanessa Taylor.

With the first poster now out in the wild, it shouldn't be long before we get a glimpse at those Arabian nights in a trailer - and the film is set to hit United Kingdom cinemas on 24 May.
