The singer was looking gorgeous in white for a "First Wives' Club"-inspired performance of the viral track she released within an hour of the return of "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend".

Ariana Grande returned to daytime television to perform her new single "thank u, next" for the first time on Wednesday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". The scenery on stage matched the set for the "You Don't Own Me" scene in the movie.

Midway through the song, she climbed on top of a chair and stumbled as she stepped down from it, but she literally laughed it off, breaking up the verse with an "Oh my god" and laughing during a couple of the following lines.

In the video, Ariana sings about overcoming life's challenges using the power of breath as she makes her way through crowded locales solo.

"Oh, my god!" Grande shouted as she recovered from the fall, then nearly seamlessly continued performing.

She sings: 'Thought I'd end up with Sean, but it wasn't a match.

Ariana's promo for new song "thank u, next" appears to be based all around classic films, with the artwork for the single being based on a book from cult film "Mean Girls".

"One day I'll walk down the aisle".

Though the Ellen performance mostly goes off without a hitch, Grande and her companions mistakenly dance through the Ellen audience toward the studio exit when the song concludes. "We support you", host Ellen DeGeneres said after the song.

So far in Ariana's career, she's held the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart three times and her August album release Sweetener pulled in the largest streaming numbers by a female pop album ever.

The singer has dropped thank u, next, from the upcoming fifth album of the same name.
