Square Enix held a Final Fantasy XV live stream to make some important announcements about the title, heading it up with the announcement that Game Director Hajime Tabata was resigning from Luminous Productions and Square Enix.

The news on the DLC front is surprising: three of the four announced DLC packs scheduled for release in 2019 have been canceled.

While Final Fantasy XV is Tabata's biggest project to date, he's been at Square Enix for over a decade, also serving as the director on Final Fantasy Type-0 and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

Square Enix will host a nine-hour "Dissidia Final Fantasy 3rd Anniversary Broadcast & Official 1 Day Tournament 2018" on November 10 starting at 12:00 JST, the company announced.

Caffeine can also cause blood vessels to contract and releases adrenaline, a hormone that can temporarily increase blood pressure. "A lot of young kids use energy drinks when they exercise, a time when you need your arterial function to be at its top".

Ofuji stated that the reason for the cancellation was due to Square Enix deciding to focus its efforts in the production of a new "AAA" title, with development headed by its new subsidiary studio Luminous Productions. "The main objective of establishing Luminous Productions was to create a studio that can deliver a completely new AAA title to the global market".

Tabata hasn't announced what he will be doing next but Luminous Productions will continue to exist under Square Enix.

At this point, it's unknown if these financial problems contributed to Tabata leaving Square Enix, but the timing is certainly coincidental. You will be able to watch it on YouTube and Niconico. "As production of Episode Ardyn continues and Luminous Productions works on new projects, I felt that it was time for me to hand over the torch to the next-generation group of talented and trustworthy colleagues and believe that they will create something incredible", Tabata added. Later, it was announced that Final Fantasy XIV will get a special event designed for XV owners, which features Noctis in a quest titled "Adventurer From Another World".
