Celebrities including Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian West, Rainn Wilson and Melissa Etheridge are among the thousands forced to flee their homes as fires continue to threaten Malibu, Calabasas, and Thousand Oaks, California. "Just landed back home and had one hour to pack up and evacuated out home".

TMZ reported that West and Kardashian have evacuated their security team as the fire approaches their property. That fire is burning almost 10,000 acres and situated only a few miles from the Woolsey fire near the border of Los Angeles and Ventura counties, as reported by ABC 7.

"Sending my prayers to everyone today", she wrote on one photo. "Pray everyone is safe".

She added another tweet a few minutes later, stating, 'I cannot sleep!

They also tweeted this morning that there are mandatory evacuations in place, 'From Las Virgenes Road and Malibu Cyn Road to the Ventura County Line, ' due to, 'a fast-moving fire line'.

Rich or not, famous or not, there was no reprieve Saturday from the California wildfires sweeping through towns as different as the star-filled oceanside enclave of Malibu and the modest communities nearby and in the state's north.

The superfan has big plans to catch the group on their six-show United Kingdom tour next summer, saying, "I saw them in concert in the '90s".

Renowned movie director Guillermo del Toro, like many of his famous neighbors, hastily abandoned his home in Agoura Hills.

The reality star and makeup mogul then went on to share a video of police cars and fire trucks arriving in her neighbourhood to tackle the fire. "And unfortunately it's becoming more and more common here in California", actress Natalie Portman said Friday night in Hollywood at an American Film Institute Fest premiere of her film "Vox Lux". "I've had a house in Malibu since 1972", she wrote on Twitter.

Alyssa Milano, a leading force in the #MeToo social movement against sexual harassment, asked for help getting five horses out of the area and said she had taken her "kids, dogs, computer and my Doc Marten boots".
