The thing is that if you have iCloud already installed on your system, you will, unfortunately, see that you can not install the October 2018 update.

Microsoft, after briefly halting the Windows 10 October 2018 update over the performance issue, rereleased the software on November 13. You'll also have trouble if you have F5 VPN software installed. The minimum requirements to run this are Windows 10 version 1803 on an x86 based machine and Visual Studio v15.8 for IDE support.

Windows 10 October 2018 Update has broken iCloud

Now, the company is working with Apple to provide a compatible version of iCloud for Windows 10, version 1809 in an upcoming release. "In addition to extensive internal validation, we have taken time to closely monitor feedback and diagnostic data from our Windows Insiders and from the millions of devices on the Windows 10 October Update, and we have no further evidence of data loss", said John Cable, director of Program Management, Windows Servicing and Delivery, in a blog post last week. Since then, Windows 10 retracted the update and re-released it around a week ago. Microsoft, for the time being, has blocked devices with iCloud for the sake of seamless experience until the matter is resolved.

Apple and Microsoft are teaming up to fix a new problem in Windows 10. The new capabilities, a number of which were previewed at Build 2018, put more tools in developers' hands, including XAML islands, a new version of Adaptive Cards, Microsoft Graph notifications, and even ink analysis. The tech giants Microsoft and Apple are said to be working on resolving the same. Users who try to open it on machines running this build (1809) have reportedly found themselves incapable of syncing their iClouds or using them to update Shared Albums.

The designation is consistent with an opinion the department issued in 2003 and with "two centuries of practice". The Daily Beast reports that the suit against Whitaker "is being filed by Sens".
