So, what else has it managed to achieve in the past five years? With Sony skipping gaming bonanza E3 entirely next year, it's likely that we'll see the next PlayStation in 2020.

Congrats, Sony! You certainly deserve all the success!

And it's been a great one.

Julian Assange indictment by USA prosecutors revealed by 'error'
The court filing, written by assistant U.S. attorney Kellen Dwyer, did not specify the nature of any charges against Assange. USA intelligence agencies have alleged the emails were hacked by Russian spies and transferred to WikiLeaks.

The award for the rarest PlayStation 4 model goes to the 500 million limited edition PS4 Pro, which was released in September as Sony commemorated the 500th million units sold since the original PlayStation was released back in 1994. In that same span of time, PlayStation says sell-in for software has surpassed 777.9 million units. And while no one is really sure how far behind its closest competitor, Microsoft's Xbox One, is, the consensus is that the PS4 leads by a very wide margin.

Sony's revealed a few other interesting, and not so interesting stats about the PlayStation 4. Though there are many sales for Black Friday that have the 200 dollar price tag, the additional $60 Kohl's cash makes it a steal - that's a free game right there! Predictable! They've been given in alphabetical order though, but the best-selling games are Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: WWII, FIFA 17, FIFA 18 and GTA V. The most popular games are the same, just switching out WWII for Fortnite.

The most popular chart is very similar, with Black Ops III once again taking the top spot, though Federation Internationale de Football Association 17 and Federation Internationale de Football Association 18 rise one place each, while Epic's phenomenon called Fortnite takes the fourth spot and Grand Theft Auto V remains at the same fifth place. In light of that, tell us some of your best PS4 memories.
