According to the White House a state funeral for Bush will be held on Wednesday, December 5th which has also been declared a day of mourning by Trump. Trump also announced that he'll be sending one of the Boeing 747s that serves as Air Force One to Houston to transport Bush's casket to Washington, D.C.
Following their arrival, "Bush's remains will lie in state in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol" from Monday at 7:30 p.m. until Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., "with a guard of honor in attendance", officials said. They'll then go back to Joint Base Andrews, with a destination set for Texas, the news release said. "This state funeral is a culmination of years of planning and rehearsal to ensure the support the military renders President Bush is nothing less than a first-class tribute". From there, a funeral train transports Bush to Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, the site of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, where he will be laid to rest.
The Bush family is working with the Department of Defense's Joint Task Force National Capitol Region to implement a funeral schedule in accordance with the late President's wishes.
