The 36-year-old teamed the stylish pants with a green military style blazer and white top as she visited RAF Akrotiri with Prince William.

While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a decision to sit this holiday party out, we're confident that Duchess Kate can control the royal style reins just fine, crop top and all. The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, recently noted that her youngest son is "getting to be a big boy."

Prince William and his wife Kate visited British military personnel based on Cyprus on Wednesday (Dec 5) to thank them for their contribution ahead of the festive period.

Squadron leader Sarah Waghorn, a senior engineering officer with 11 Squadron, was one of those to get presents from home from Prince William.

The Duchess, who was dressed characteristically stylish in a green Smythe blazer, white top, and wide-leg pants, shared a sweet moment with a young royal fan while meeting members of the local community. Emily Nash reported that Kate promised a "little girl [that] she would come back in a pink dress and crown".

Are you a fan of Catherine's latest outfit? The Duchess had a tiara handy the night before!

Tom Cruise wants you to turn off motion smoothing
On most TVs, motion smoothing controls are under advanced picture settings, and each manufacturer has a different name for it. Tom Cruise feels passionately about motion smoothing - that is, turning it off to enjoy his (and others") movies "properly'.

But the Duchess of Cambridge looked chic in the flattering pants as she met personnel at the military base.

William and Kate passed on Christmas presents they had received from family members whom they met in London on Tuesday, Kensington Palace said on its official Twitter account.

"When William served in the Falklands or went search and rescue, I remember how it felt".

Talking about spending time away from her family at Christmas, she said: "It's emotional, I think it's easier for us out here because we just muck in together. The absence of people you love must be especially hard at this time of year or at those special family moments". "George said to me this morning, "Where are you going daddy?' and I said, "I'm going to see some pilots who fly fast jets", William said".

Now that's what you'd call a truly royal mail service.
