Michelle Obama and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex met in London during a stop on the former U.S. first lady's book tour for her new memoir Becoming, according to reports in the Evening Standard and Harper's Bazaar.

Guests described the event as "one of the best" as they left afterwards, citing Meghan's reading and a speech from Harry among the highlights.

The unconfirmed reports even suggest the feud between the two has affected Prince Harry's relationship with his brother Prince William.

Meghan first wore the Mackage coat in Nottingham.

Michelle Obama encouraged Meghan to try not to hurry in to doing everything at once and to take her time.

The event was publicised after the fact when Laura Hammond, professor of development studies at SOAS University London, tweeted: 'We had an excellent discussion about how research can tackle the problems of slavery and human trafficking.

Coincidentally, Michelle had just recently spoken to Good Housekeeping about what advice she would offer Meghan if given the chance.

The Duchess of Sussex has been laying low lately as she happily coasts toward her third trimester of pregnancy, but fans got a glimpse of her blossoming bump last night - and it's clearly popped!

Her tweet was shared alongside a photo of Meghan, sitting at the head of a table and looking engaged as another attendee spoke.

It comes after Meghan made a speech at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji during her Commonwealth tour with Harry in October. The pair continued to chat about their charitable endeavours with a focus on educational programmes for women in less economically developed countries.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been famed for her traditional yet stylish fashion sense, and royal fans were shocked to see the mother-of-three donning stylish wide-legged pants at a royal outing for the first time.
