"We have a 31-bed shelter here in town, a food pantry, utility, rental assistance program and many others as well", White said.

The suspect told police he was taking the kettle back to the Salvation Army, but an employee for the charitable organization said protocol would be to leave the kettle at the ringer's location, which was Woodman's.

The organization is accepting toy donations until December 15.

"Having no toys to sort or send out has put us in a very desperate situation", said Karen Livick, executive director for the Salvation Army's Community Services.

Authorities said they're not certain how much money was taken.

Apple finally releases a case for the iPhone XR
Although third-party cases have been available since the iPhone XR was released, this is the first XR case offered by Apple . Maybe $1,000 is too much? You can also send it for replacement at an Apple Repair Center.

The NFL, however, could look a little better by donating the $13,000 to the Salvation Army.

"I don't think credit cards are necessarily the reason".

"I don't think we're ever going to get away from that cash donation option, because that feeling of having your children walk up to the kettle and drop a few coins in - it's iconic".

The Salvation Army helps low-income families and victims of domestic violence and homelessness.

The kettle campaign will continue to collect donations up to Christmas eve.
