In 2016, he hit a career-high 42 home runs and posted an OPS of.886.

The Washington Nationals agreed to a one-year, $9 million deal Thursday with second baseman Brian Dozier. He finished with an average of.215 for the season, though he still showed some pop with 21 home runs and 72 RBI.

Since the 2018 season ended, general manager Mike Rizzo has made moves quickly - October's trade for reliever Kyle Barraclough and the early December deal for catcher Yan Gomes - and aggressively (most notably with starter Patrick Corbin).

Eat more dietary fibre to lower risk of non-communicable diseases
Adults were already recommended to aim for about 30 grams of fiber per day, and for children to have about 20 grams. So, how does one increase fiber in the diet? Similar findings were shown with increasing whole-grain intakes.

Defensively the Nationals are acquiring a former Gold Glove second baseman.

The 2018 season was a hard one for Brian Dozier as he saw his production dip tremendously, which was in part due to a knee injury that he was forced to manage all season. He might not be the best player at his position on the market - his class features D.J. LeMahieu and Daniel Murphy - but Dozier certainly isn't far from the top spot.

Dozier, 31, had been a stalwart for the Minnesota Twins - dating back to his 2012 rookie year - before a midseason trade to the Los Angeles Dodgers last summer. Dozier and the Washington Nationals are a very good match for one another and both are hoping to see Dozier return to turning on pitches that are launched over the left field fence routinely as they both look for a return to the playoffs in 2019. While a natural shortstop, Kieboom projects as a second baseman with Trea Turner entrenched at shortstop. However, whether it'll be enough to make Washington contenders in the NL East remains to be seen.
