Thanking fans for their kinds messages, Kensington Palace tweeted a stunning photo of the duchess alongside the caption: "Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages on The Duchess of Cambridge's birthday".

It will no doubt be a special occasion for Kate, who will be celebrating for the first time as a mum-of-three.

Just days after her big day on January 9, Kate will pay a visit to a special community garden in London, Kensington Palace revealed - and it's quite similar to her first outing back from maternity leave past year.

Meanwhile, Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three, have resumed normal life after spending the Christmas holidays with the Queen in Sandringham.

It might be the Duchess of Cambridge's 37th birthday on Wednesday, but we've heard the royal is having a chilled, low-key day as Prince William attends an important engagement.

Charlotte goes to Willcocks Nursery School, while George goes to Thomas's London Day School in Battersea.

While it was an impressive finish in Hawaii, it was the 29-year-old's 19th tournament in a row that he has failed to win. This year will be McIlroy's 11th appearance at Augusta, and he has finished in the top 10 during the last five years.

When someone asked what the royal would be doing to mark Kate's big day, he jokingly replied, "That would be telling!"

The visit, at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, will be his first official engagement of 2019.

Happy early birthday to the royal!

London's Air Ambulance has been providing crucial and life-saving aid to Londoners for the past three decades and, with Will having worked as an air ambulance pilot himself, the Duke knows first-hand how vital the charity is.

William also served almost five years as a helicopter pilot with the RAF's Search and Rescue Force.

"She'd already had it the week before at Kensington Palace, as ludicrous as that might have been", the expert continued.
