Michy Batshuayi's loan from Chelsea to Valencia is to be terminated early, the LaLiga club's sporting director Mateu Alemany has confirmed.

"Batshuayi's situation is very clear".

The Chelsea forward was a disappointment in Spain, scoring only twice in 23 matches for the club. Though several clubs are thought to be keen, the Toffees have the financial power to meet our loan fee demands, and of course, Batshuayi's wages.

'The player knows and we hope to reach a solution soon for the good of all parties.

We are expecting an exit in the next few hours or days'.

During the encounter Batshuayi failed to convert from a glorious chance and was subbed off at half-time.

Marcelinho said: "I think we have to get in some strikers". In some cases our patience has run out, ' he said.

"We could have gone in front in the first minute".

Everton would have to purchase Batshuayi, who has two-and-a-half years left on his Blues contract, on a permanent deal, as they already have defender Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea.

Michy Batshuayi is set to return to Chelsea - but it doesn't look as though he'll be sticking around at Stamford Bridge. He may have not done well during his time with Valencia but did display his quality during the stint with Dortmund.

He continued: "I don't make changes to point at anyone, I make changes depending on the performance I see". On the effort and the commitment, on everything that I see.

On Tuesday, January 8, Valencia coach Marcelino was forced to substitute Michy Batshuayi after missing a sitter in their Copa del Rey loss to second-tier Sporting Gijon.
