Williamsburg to miss the brunt of snow storm

Winter Storm Warnings Advisories in effect for Tri-State Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories are in effect for many cities across the Tri-State

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in place for Cook, DuPage, Kane, DeKalb, Kendall, Grundy and LaSalle and Will Counties in IL and all of Northwest Indiana until 3 a.m. Sunday.

While one to two inches of snow and sleet are still possible, forecasters now expect Williamsburg to see minimal snow and ice accumulation between late Saturday and Monday.

The advisory is also being placed on southwest and western Pennsylvania, east central OH and northern and northern panhandle of West Virginia. Precautionary/preparedness actions. A winter weather advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.

The Winter Storm Warning is officially over.

Sunday calls for highs in the mid-30s and overnight lows in the lower 30s with a 50 percent chance of wintry mix then snow.
