Coming to the performance part, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The video touts the phone ice to be called the Redmi Note 7, and it shows the phone from the front and back.

Unveiled by CEO Lei Jun, the new Redmi logo is a simple and minimalistic one - that simply says "Redmi by Xiaomi", so its evident that Xiaomi will still be in charge of future Redmi Phones. It is available in Blue, Twilight Gold and Black color options and pre-orders are already up with availability expected on January 15th. The new Redmi Note 7 is different, powerful and looks classy compared to the previous generation Note phones from Xiaomi. On the front, you will find a regular 13-megapixel selfie camera which offers all the standard beauty and AI modes. There are three memory combos for the Redmi Note 7 - 3/32 GB, 4/64 GB, and 6/64 GB and there is a microSD slot as well. The top-end model of the Redmi Note 7 comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which has been priced at 1399 yuan which when roughly translated comes to Rs 14,500.

Redmi Note 7 marks Xiaomi's departure from the metal unibody design.

Jeff Bezos tweeted that he and his wife, MacKenzie, are divorcing
Left unanswered was one of the biggest sticking points in any divorce: How the assets amassed during the marriage will be divided. The most expensive divorce on record in the US involved embattled casino mogul Steve Wynn and his ex-wife Elaine (above in 2008).

We've earlier reported about Xiaomi's plans to spin-off Redmi as a new sub-brand and the launch of a possible high-end 48 MP flagship phone to do the honors. They've just launched this Redmi Note 7, but they're also set to release a Xiomi Note 7 Pro. It's nearly unbelievable how good affordable smartphones are now.

The battery has 4,000 mAh capacity and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.

The star of the show is arguably the rear camera setup, consisting of a 48MP f/1.8 main camera (Samsung GM1, 0.8 micron pixels) and a 5MP secondary shooter. On the connectivity front, the handset offers dual 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Global Positioning System. USB-C, headphone jack, IR-blaster, gotta catch em all. Sadly, Xiaomi did not launch the Note 7 with 128GB of internal storage. The phone maker today added yet another mid-budget smartphone to its growing lineup in China - the Redmi Note 7. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Redmi Y2 can now be bought for Rs 10,999.
