The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver has been a thorn in the franchise's side all offseason, asking for a trade after the season concluded and has continuously set social media ablaze with cryptic tweets and Instagram activity.

What is Antonio Brown doing?

Antonio Brown has been unhappy with the Pittsburgh Steelers for what seems like a while now.

"SteelerNation thank you for big 9 years!"

A source close to Brown believes the wideout is exhausted of playing the scapegoat for the Steelers' problems and wants to show he can thrive in another offense. What the Steelers end up doing with Brown could end up having some major ramifications on the receiver market. Pittsburgh won the game with Brown watching on the sidelines, but missed the playoffs.

He started every game for his country during the 1966 tournament and played in the 4-2 victory over West Germany in the final. Sheffield legend and England World Cup victor Gordon Banks has died at the age of 81.

As Niners Nation pointed out, that personnel exec said he'd send just a sixth-round pick, with player and team performance conditions making it as high as fourth-rounder, to the Steelers in exchange for Brown. Brown is without question one of the best receivers in the National Football League - maybe the best receiver, and definitely a receiver that would make a huge impact on the Eagles.

This wasn't the only news involving the seven-time Pro Bowl receiver, though.

Meanwhile, Brown is signed for three more seasons.

As outlined above, acquiring Brown comes with definite risk but could be a home run for a contender.
