"New "Chucky" movie?" Tilly wrote Friday on Twitter.

Additionally, Tilly retweeted the Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting, John Squires who explained the backlash for the film's remake.

In the remake, Plaza gives her son a Buddi doll (not to be confused with a Good Guy doll) that just so happens to be a vicious killer. "Ummm...no. Tiffany and I are gonna sit this one out.#NotmyChucky" Even better, she shared a photo of herself holding the iconic doll, which you can see at the bottom. The trailer depicts a more high-tech Chucky doll that wreaks havoc.

It's definitely an interesting twist on the terrifying tale, making Chucky not so much a possessed doll but a robot on the rampage (more like a toy-sized Terminator).

Oru Adaar Love: Priya Prakash Varrier trolled over lip-lock scene
However, the film is in a soup of controversies with Boney Kapoor slamming the legal notice in the makers and the actress. Now once again, Priya Prakash Varrier has become of talk of town because of lip biting scene.

The last movie to release from the Child's Play franchise was 2017's Cult of Chucky. That show, which is coming to Syfy in the U.S., will continue the story that began in the 1988 film and went through six sequels. "They asked David Kirschner and I if we wanted to be executive producers". Obviously my feelings were hurt. "And I did create the character and nurture the franchise for three f*cking decades".

The film will hit theaters on June 21st, 2019.

What do you think of Jennifer Tilly's response?
