Officers found multiple victims of "apparent gunshot wounds" in the home in the community of Blanchard, about 70 miles northeast of Houston, sheriff's officials said.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office is confirming that five people were killed in a shooting incident on the 3600 block of FM 3126 in Blanchard, west of Livingston. "A terrible, horrific crime", said Polk County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Byron Lyons told KTRK.
Five family members, including a baby, were found dead at this southeast Texas home.
