2 Palestinian teens killed in Gaza clashes as IDF praises fearless soldiers & border fence (VIDEOS) Two youths, aged 14 and 18, have been killed by IDF fire during the latest March of Return protests along the Gaza border with Israel, the 46th week of Palestinian civil disobedience there.

The Health Ministry said the soldiers killed a child, identified as Hasan Eyad Shalabi, 14, from the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, after shooting him with live fire in the chest, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Egypt has since eased Palestinian movement through its border and Israel allowed Qatar to send financial aid to Gaza, but the Hamas says this is insufficient.

The Israeli army declined to comment on the deaths, but said 8,200 "rioters and demonstrators" had been protesting along the frontier.

Israel's internal security agency says the murder of a 19-year-old Israeli woman by a Palestinian suspect near Jerusalem last week was politically motivated.

Thai Raksa Chart's Executive Chairman Chaturon Chaisaeng declined to comment on Sunday on the request to disband the party. Thailand's current Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, led the 2014 coup and is now widely expected to be re-elected.

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have for almost a year gathered at least weekly along the heavily fortified frontier for often-violent protests, calling on Israel to end its blockade of the enclave.

The spokesman said soldiers used riot dispersal equipment and opened fired "in accordance with standard operating procedures".

According to a United Nations report in January, since the mass demonstrations began on March 30 a year ago at least 250 Palestinians have been killed and more than 27,000 people injured.

Israel has fought three wars against Hamas since the miltant group took control of the enclave in 2007. The degree of violence on several occasions escalated into cross-border exchanges between Hamas and Israeli forces.

Around 2 million people live in the Gaza Strip, which the United Nations has warned faces a severe humanitarian crisis.
