Music, TMZ reported, citing sources with knowledge of the situation.
The contract was never going to be honored, of course - the man apparently perfectly forged Kanye's name and signature on the documents - and Plein even gave him a $900,000 advance for the phony show!
As of press time, there is still no explanation as to where the missing money is, but Malik seems to believe there's a conspiracy being hatched by Philip Plein International, to divide Malik and Kanye. [Plein's] now making aggressive offers, like mid-six figures, for an artist to do three songs. Unfortunately, no one from the fashion house saw the report last June that West is no longer affiliated with the organization formerly known as Donda's House, now called Art of Culture Incorporated. He says the Plein and himself agreed on a "t-shirt" shortly after recanting on their "concert" agreement. Another $150,000 was allegedly sent to Burundi Partlow Consulting, who, The Blast was told, put Plein's representatives in touch with Yusef several months ago to clinch the deal.
While Kanye may be working on becoming a different person this year, specifically one that's less politically-controversial after news broke that he'll officially retire that ill-received MAGA hat, we doubt Mr. Unfortunately we too were affected by this misrepresentation.
The Blast also reached out to Yusef, who claimed that he was "not aware" of any issues related to the contract, adding "Kanye and me have a foundation together that we started".
