Ben Crenshaw, R-Texas, to "do something" about domestic terrorism.

She quote-tweeted Mr. Crenshaw describing as "unbelievable" the September 11 word choice of Rep. Ilhan Omar, Minnesota Democrat, and told the Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient that he was out of line.

For the record, here's Omar's comment in greater context, which does nothing to make what she said better.

No one was attacking Omar's 9/11 remarks because she was a Muslim, people were attacking her remarks because what she said trivialized the deadliest terrorist attack in world history.

Ocasio-Cortez also said Omar has "done more for 9/11 families than the GOP" and that Republicans are "happy to weaponize [Omar's] faith".

Quick to defend her friend, the NY lawmaker accused Crenshaw of taking Omar's remarks out of context and attacked him for not co-sponsoring the 9/11 Victim's Compensation Fund. The bill has not even been voted on in the House and just because Crenshaw is not a cosponsor does not prevent him from voting in favor of the bill when a vote is held on it.

Tiger Woods celebrates after sinking his putt to win the Masters . "A big "well done" from me to TigerWoods!" When I tapped in I don't know what I did, I know I screamed.

"This is a really dishonest attack and let me tell you how I am for 9/11 victims and 9/11 first responders".

Barr had invited Ocasio-Cortez to come to his district in eastern and central Kentucky to learn how her Green New Deal could impact his constituents.

Nearly immediately, Ocasio-Cortez was excoriated for having the audacity to tell a man who lost his eye in service to the country to "go do something" about terrorism.

But Barr in the Friday letter said Ocasio-Cortez's remarks about Crenshaw go too far.

The 29-year-old congresswoman stunned the political world when she defeated 10-term incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley in the Democratic primary last year, becoming the youngest woman ever to serve in Congress.

In appearing to be the new Fox Business and Fox News "boogeyman" replacement for former United States presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has - unlike her predecessors - deftly handled ongoing ham-handed tactics by conservative lawmakers and media to get her to keep quiet, according to The Guardian. A former reporter for McClatchy's Miami Herald, she also spent several years covering the White House.
