IPL 2019, KKR vs CSK, Today's Match Preview: After suffering back-to-back defeats, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will aim to regain the lost momentum against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Eden Gardens of Sunday.

CSK, who had defeated KKR in their first meeting also, consolidated their spot at the top of the table with 14 points from eight matches.

Chennai Super Kings have moved on from the MS Dhoni controversy, said batting coach Mike Hussey while stressing that their decorated skipper is an asset for any team.

KKR Team (from): Dinesh Karthik (captain), Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Joe Denly, Lockie Ferguson, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Harry Gurnley, Kuldeep Yadav, Piyush Chawla, Nitish Rana, Sandeep Warrier, K.C. Cariappa, Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Shrikant Mundhe, Nikhil Naik, Anrich Nortje, Prithvi Raj, Prasidh Krishna. The role that he plays for the team is vital.

He never looked at ease during his 21-ball 45 against Delhi. The West Indian has so far maintained a brutal strike rate of 212.67. Initially, it looked as if umpire Ulhas Gandhe was about to signal no-ball only to decide otherwise as it is the duty of the leg umpire to signal the waist-high No-ball. For this, the former Indian skipper drew criticism from multiple cricketers who thought his behaviour was against the spirit of the game.

USA enters 5G network race, jockeying for position with China
On Friday, the United States FCC has announced that it will take a couple of measures to expedite the development of 5G in the US. The president boasted that by the end of the year, 92 markets in the US will support 5G compared to 48 in South Korea.

The former India captain's behaviour certainly did not go down well with the match officials who have imposed a fine of 50 per cent from Dhoni's match fee.

Performance-wise, there is no denying how big a difference Dhoni has made to the team's cause by leading from the front. This season, he has accumulated 214 runs in five innings at an average of 107. Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo and Ambati Rayudu form the middle order. Suresh Raina then joined the on-field batsman Faf du Plessis.

The Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders will face again for the second time in Eden Gardens for the match 29 of VIVO IPL 2019.

Imran Tahir's four-wicket haul sparked an unlikely collapse for KKR, and an even rarer failure for Andre Russell, whose run of scores over 40 finally came to an end as he perished to Tahir for 10.

The spin bowling department of the Knight Riders also should make it count when it matters the most.
