You Don't Need iTunes To Listen To Apple Podcasts Anymore

Apple Reportedly Bringing Apple Music, Apple TV Apps to the Mac Apple rumored to split up iTunes in forthcoming MacOS release

My biggest issue with the iTunes store though is needing to use Apple's annoying iTunes software that seems to serve little objective other than try and force me to use it and get me to sync with other Apple devices I don't own.

Apple looks set to commence phasing out iTunes.

What are your thoughts on Marzipan apps from Apple? The landing page provides the notes of the shows and another opportunity to listen to the other Podcasts.

The move would make a lot of sense on Apple's part. iTunes is both ancient (by software standards) and nearly universally reviled by the internet. There's still an option to open up iTunes, which users will want to do if they intend to read reviews or access trending charts.

Focusing on the expected hostile atmosphere in Naples, Aubameyang added: "We already know [what to expect]". On Monday, I am sure we are going to play different players but [try] to find the same performance.

More than 18 years after its launch and the revolution it brought in the music industry, iTunes might cease to exist as we know it.

The new macOS apps will be very similar to Apple News and will share a design similar to the counterpart for iOS.

Apple already confirmed at its March press event that its TV app will arrive on the Mac this fall.

These apps are expected to be separated in the next macOS Mojave major update, which 9to5Mac suggests to be version 10.15. If the chatter is true, then macOS will be gaining Music, Podcasts, and maybe even Books apps, alongside the new TV app, in place of the all-encompassing iTunes program. It will apparently offer a greatly improved listening experience for all podcast listeners, as the current experience is underwhelming in iTunes.
