All passengers and crew are reported safe and uninjured after a Myanmar National Airlines plane made a scheduled but emergency landing at Mandalay International Airport on only its rear landing wheels after the front landing gear failed to deploy.

A Myanmar pilot has harmlessly landed a plane without front wheels after the landing gear could not function.

And in 2015, an Air Bagan passenger plane veered off the runway amid bad weather and heavy rain.

Heart in mouth, bystanders were able to film the miraculous emergency landing which was safely - if not gracefully - performed.
