Scobie reiterated this on Twitter, as well, writing, "Sources confirm that Prince William and Duchess Kate will be meeting baby Archie for the first time early this week".

Prince William and Kate Middleton met their newborn nephew Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on Tuesday.

He met young royal fans outside the hospital in Oxford just over a week after his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, gave birth to their first child, Archie.

Archie, who was not given a courtesy title, has already spent time with his maternal grandmother Doria Ragland and his royal great grandparents, the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

But Prince Harry has kept up with his engagements, even travelling to The Hague last week to launch a countdown to the Invictus Games.

The duke and duchess's visit to Windsor comes just after Kate stepped out to Bletchley Park to meet budding codebreakers on Tuesday.

He also revealed his newborn is keeping him up at night.

Since the baby's birth, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been savoring Archie's first days.

At the weekend, Meghan celebrated her first Mother's Day by sharing an adorable photo of Archie's tiny feet to Instagram.

He also visited OXSRAD Disability Sports and Leisure Centre, which his mother Princess Diana opened in 1989 and Barton Neighbourhood Centre, Centre, a hub for local residents which houses a doctor's surgery, food bank, café and youth club.

It was captioned: "Paying tribute to all mothers today, past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered".

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Meghan skipped royal tradition by refusing to introduce her child to the world on the same day she delivered Archie. Quote from "lands" by @nayyirah.waheed: my mother was my first country; the first place i ever lived.

"We honour and celebrate each and every one of you".

The post was to mark Mother's Day in the USA, which is held on a different day to the United Kingdom, and pay "tribute to all mothers".
