Following the conclusion of the Miz vs. Shane McMahon steel cage match, the announce team revealed that WWE Hall of Famer and legend Mick Foley will be making an appearance on Raw this Monday night with the sole goal of announcing a new championship title into the company.

Foley announced as well that the title will be open to superstars from NXT, NXT UK, Raw, SmackDown Live and 205 Live rosters.

The new championship calls to mind the "24/7 Rule" of the retired Hardcore Championship, of which Foley was the initial bearer in 1998. There were hints as Foley described what it means to be a champion, finally emphasizing that being a champion is something done at all times. Starting tonight a scramble will occur to crown the first 24/7 champion.

EC3, Cedric Alexander, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Titus O'Neil, Eric Young, Mojo Rawley, Drake Maverick and No Way Jose then started brawling as they tried to grab the title.

But who would be crowned the first champion?

England set World Cup batting standard
The century was the eighth of Roy's one-day career and his second of the year, following his 123 against West Indies in February. At one point during the Pakistan innings, they were 178/1 after 30 overs and England looked to be headed for a stiff chase.

Watch Foley unveil the new belt below.

One of the returning legends was Mick Foley, who was advertised to debut a new WWE title. The rule lasted until 2002 when the Hardcore and Intercontinental Titles were unified. Robert Roode then came out of nowhere and won the title from O'Neil but later on, in the show, Roode lost the belt to R-Truth.

On top of the news that the title will be defended at all times, it can also be defended against all superstars.

I know that a lot of people are going to look down on this new title, but I think it could be a lot of fun.
