Announced during the Bethesda E3 2019 conference, so-called "Switch Blades" will launch "this fall" and will be totally play. That handheld hybrid format that somehow seems to get a port of every game, and we welcome each and every one with open arms.

Blades hasn't even been available on mobile devices all that long, for what it's worth. It'll still have the microtransactions that made the iOS and Android versions of the game a bit of a pain, unfortunately.

Pete then reminds the audience that RAGE 2 was just released, introducing some upcoming DLC that will make the game more unpredictable and insane.

"A classic Saturday morning cartoon in free-to-play, mobile game form", Bethesda said.

Next, he talked about The Elder Scrolls Blades, which will come to Nintendo Switch! They announce solo arena battles, a custom jewelry system and dragon questline are coming to the game tonight.

Elder Scrolls Blades will be playable with motion controls or standard physical Switch inputs, both in handheld mode and on TV. Which, with the introduction of human NPCs, a new main quest, actual settlements and towns and branching dialogue - it's a return of the Fallout we all know.

Bethesda revealed the release date of Doom Eternal, which is November 22, 2019.

Shinji Mikami's studio Tango Gameworks presented a "new kind of action-adventure game" called Ghostwire: Tokyo, but the details are too scarce - you get to fight paranormal activity in Tokyo. Youngblood is an alternate history game in which the Nazis won World War II.

Orion isn't a game but Bethesda's new streaming software.

In this "ultimate power fantasy", you'll go not only to Hell but to Heaven, also. Doom Eternal is going to be more of that, though Bethesda did show off a new multiplayer mode called, well, Battlemode. We get a trailer showing off some new abilities, the introduction of cheat codes that will add things like low gravity, a mech suit, and more. Like Dishonored, it'll all be about playing the way you want to play.

That's all for Sunday, but E3 will have plenty of other news stories breaking throughout this week. You'll be able to do that starting tomorrow.
