This new system was developed in an effort to reduce the chaos that ensued previous year during the company's first Pay Your Age event that was held on one day.

This year, the toy company is changing things up.

That experience - offered "at no additional charge!" - includes a Birthday Heart ceremony, a birthday sticker and party hat, a birthday-cake photo prop and the chance to ring the Birthday Bell to "announce their birthday to the entire workshop".

Additionally, ten Guests will win the "Count Your Candles" sweepstakes grand prize of a birthday party experience to use any time in the next twelve months valued up to $250.

For anyone who has kids, or has been to a shopping centre with one - you'll know that Build-A-Bear is a particularly appealing concept for children.

Rain postpones Cup race to Monday
Want your voice heard? Rain forced NASCAR to postpone the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway to Monday. Clint Bowyer, the defending victor of the race, will line up fifth as Ford drivers make up eight of the top 10 starting spots.

The deadline to complete the following three steps is 11:59 p.m. on June 16.

If you are one of the 200,000 lucky shoppers, you'll be able to cash in your ticket and pay your age on select days from June 24-28. The deal is valid at most Build-A-Bear locations in the U.S., Canada or the United Kingdom, the company said.

Build-A-Bear ended up issuing an apology and giving out vouchers to those who were unable to get into the insanely crowded stores. "We have closed lines in our stores", the company tweeted in July.
