US opens World Cup with record-breaking 13-0 rout of Thailand

The U.S. women's national team opens play in the 2019 Women's World Cup on Tuesday, June 11, when it faces Thailand in Reims, France.

Federation Internationale de Football Association says 14 of 52 Women's World Cup games have sold out, a month after boasting only a "few matches" still had tickets available.
