Boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. proved Monday night that his talents are best used in the ring and playing defense against some of the best ball handlers in basketball isn't easy.

Mayweather laughed it off as he rose to his feet, however, as did his fans.

Floyd Mayweather finally speaks out on his infamous crossover from the Bone Collector. "Mayweather became Williams" latest victim during the Monster Energy 50K Charity Challenge in Los Angeles, California. After "Money" got put on his back, Williams was left alone to score a three-point shot.

The charity event, held at the UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, saw Team Floyd - captained by Mayweather - face Team Gronk - led by retired New England Patriots star Ron Gronkowski. "The Bone Collector" threatened to dribble right before suddenly changing direction.

Gulf of Mexico began evacuating workers and shutting in output as a storm gathers strength off the coast of Florida. Exxon MobilXOM.N said it was "closely monitoring " the disturbance to determine if its facilities might beaffected.

This wasn't the first time Money Mayweather was humiliated on the court.

The five-weight world champion was able to see the amusing side of things, though, and was seen laughing as he clambered back to his feet.

"What Bone Collector did to Mayweather was a crime", one Twitter user joked. In classic "Money Mayweather" fashion, Floyd said, "my bank account won't change".

Mayweather is arguably the most confident athlete in the world, so it's not surprising that he wanted to guard Williams.
