Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United and Inter Milan are €13.5m in their valuations of Romelu Lukaku.

But the 26-year-old showed a willingness to leave the Theatre of Dreams for San Siro when speaking to Mediaset recently, stating: "It is good that Conte went to Inter, for me, he is the best coach in the world".

Manchester United are rumoured to be facing competition from Premier League champions Manchester City in the race to sign Maguire.

The Serie A side have targeted the Belgium global as they look for a new man to lead their line under Antonio Conte next season.

The Belgium worldwide arrived at Old Trafford for £75million from Everton having just narrowly lost out on the Premier League golden boot to Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane after finishing the campaign with 25 goals.

However, Lukaku is no longer eager to stick around and is favouring a move to Inter after previously stating his desire to one day play in Italy.

Lukaku has his heart set on working with new Inter boss Antonio Conte, who attempted to sign the Belgian as Chelsea manager in 2017, after feeling left-out since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho.

After joining from Everton for £75m two years ago, the Belgium global has netted 28 goals in 66 Premier League games for the Red Devils.

The club have already made two signings ahead of the new season, with winger Daniel James joining from Swansea while full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka moved to Old Trafford after shining with Crystal Palace.
