It has been revealed that Star Trek: Picard will show a different side of the character in this follow-up series, so perhaps the dog in the poster is tied to that in some way.

The bad news is the show is still pretending as if Jean-Luc is going to spend the entire series retired in his family's French vineyard.

Maybe extra will come when Picard travels to San Diego Comedian-Con as a part of the Star Trek panel scheduled for Corridor H, which can present what Chabon, Stewart and enterprise are doing.

Star Trek: Picard will stream on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.

Acosta resigns amid controversy over Epstein deal
Asked if he would make the same deal now, Acosta responded: "We live in a very different world". Acosta's recollection of this matter is completely wrong.

The dog's name, according to the dog tag, which is shaped like a Starfleet emblem, appears to be No. 1.

A sequel to The Next Generation, the series features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on "Star Trek: Next Generation". We got out the first teaser for Star Trek: Picard back in May, but the show is set to host a full panel at SDCC 2019 later this month. Instead of just enjoying new movies or reruns of old favorite TV episodes, the universe is expanding to include multiple series of Star Trek. There's already one (admittedly quite good!) Star Trek show on now - do we really need another one?

Alongside Stewart, the cast features Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Alison Pill and Harry Treadaway.
