No celebrity from the film fraternity made it to the top 10 with Dwayne Johnson becoming the first actor to be on the list at No. 15.

The magazine estimated the 29-year-old singer's pretax income to be around $185 million-a 131% percent increase compared to the $80 million she reportedly raked in last year. It is also one of the heroines of the popular reality show keeping up with the Kardashians. Interestingly the difference between Khiladi and Robert Downey Jr was barely a million dollar where the latter earned $66 million and Aki managed $65 million. At No. 3 was Kanye West, who is married to Jenner's sister Kim Kardashian.

Taylor Swift is ranked the world's highest paid entertainer for 2019, with Kylie Jenner coming in second, followed by Kanye West in third.

So when Forbes released the list of "The World's Highest-Paid Celebrities" and we saw Akshay Kumar as the only Indian celebrity in the list, and it was not a surprise for us. Her brother-in-law Kanye West clocks in at No. 3, with earnings of $150 million a year ago.

Bank of Canada may diverge from dovish peers as economy rebounds
The bank's Wednesday forecast of 1.3 per cent growth for 2019 is just below the average private sector forecast of 1.4 per cent. The Canadian dollar pared earlier gains following the decision, but was still up 0.3 per cent to C$1.3091 per USA dollar.

Earlier this year Forbes declared Jenner to be the world's youngest billionaire. A few musicians who made the list include Ariana Grande a newcomer (No.62), Beyonce (No. 20), Jennifer Lopez (No.76), Lady Gaga (No.90) and Celine Dion (No.100).

Soccer star Lionel Messi came in fourth place ($127 million) whilst Ed Sheeran ($110 million) completes the top five. British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and 1970s soft rock band The Eagles also went on to clinch a place in the top 10.

Akshay Kumar is up several spots in the global list from last year's, on which he was ranked 76 with earnings recorded at $40.5 million.
