Instead of a cake featuring the titular character from the animated Disney movie, Kensli Davis' mom left Dairy Queen with a "marijuana" cake.

Well, something was lost in translation.

Her post about the shocking mishap has gone viral on Facebook, with more than 14,000 shares.

Obviously, it wasn't what her mum had as a primary choice when she requested it for her. Kensli luckily observed the amusing side and shared the surprising ice cream picture on Facebook.

She said next year's cake will be less likely to involve a mix-up.

Davis said she and her family found the mix-up humorous.

She told USA Today: "It was a mistake".

The owner in question released a statement to USA Today, which read: "This was a simple misunderstanding from the beginning". But when her mom called the local Dairy Queen with the order, the shop heard "marijuana" instead.

Cassandra Walker told USA Today she made the cake after her manager, who she says misheard the order, told her it was OK. (Because really I do) Well.

And that's precisely why Davis will order a cake from them again next year, although she'll probably skip the design and just go with something "regular".

"I think they thought that she said "marijuana" because we are from south Georgia and kind of have an accent".

Walker said she fired from Dairy Queen on Monday, which was her birthday.

"This is back-to-school time", Walker tells USA Today.
