Reliance Jio founder Mukesh Ambani made this announcement at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2019 and said that the JioFiber broadband service will be commercially available on September 5. The company announced that the service, whose lowest plans will start at 100 Mbps and go up to 1 Gbps, will start at Rs 700 and go up to Rs 10,000. As per the market reports, Jio could also launch Rs 600 "Triple Play" combo plan offering unlimited voice, unlimited data, the Jio Home IPTV service, premium Jio apps and broadband connection.

First day First show Premium Jio customers will be able to watch a movie on the very day it released, beamed into their homes.

Consumers will be able to make video calls for free using the set-top box.

Just like the Jio 4G network, the Jio GigaFiber offers features like free live television streaming, free access to apps like JioSaavn and Jio Movies and more. The Jio Phone 2 was launched at Rs 2,999 wherein the company also revealed exchange offer for Rs 501. Jio has also become India's largest mobile network with 340 million subscribers. Full details of Jio Fiber plans will be available before Sep 5th, 2019.

India's top network provider, Reliance Jio, today announced it's going to offer free HD or 4K TVs, and 4K-enabled set-top boxes along with its upcoming broadband service's annual subscriptions. The offer, however, is only valid for those subscribing to the 'Jio Forever plan', Ambani said.

In addition, Reliance also announced a long-term alliance with Microsoft to accelerate digital transformation in the country with the launch of new cloud data centres.

He also said that the future of India and of Reliance has never looked brighter than it is now.
