However, new evidence suggests the V60 ThinQ may not be the only flagship Android smartphone that the South Korean manufacturer will introduce at IFA this year.

We have already seen LG launching its LG G8S ThingQ which is the companies flagship smartphone and about the upcoming device, there is very little information except for the 360-degree video which says it could be the LG G8X.

LG plans to launch the new smartphone on September 6 on the eve of the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin, Europe's largest tech show, four months after releasing the ThinQ V50.

Smartphones from the stables of United States tech giant Apple and China's Huawei are also expected to hit shelves in the coming months. This phone is said to be the successor to the LG G8 ThinQ, which launched earlier in February, during Mobile World Congress exhibition. It has a dual rear camera setup accompanied with an LED flash, aligned horizontally, like the one we have seen in G8 ThinQ. But keep in mind these renders are based on leaked CAD files; they're not "official" press images from LG itself.

Unlike the G8 ThinQ, which sports a wide notch, the G8X ThinQ will have a less intrusive waterdrop cutout at the top. There is no indication of a physical fingerprint sensor on the device hence it should be coming with an in-display fingerprint sensor along with the AI facial unlocking system. The renders further indicate there's a traditional speaker at the top, rather than LG's Crystal Sound OLED speaker setup. The technology vibrates the OLED screen to make it function as a speaker. It might get powered either by the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 or the Snapdragon 855+ SoC.
