Tuesday will be partly cloudy with an isolated shower but mainly cooler with less humidity and a bit more sun keeping temps in the mid-70s. Combined with very high humidity, the heat index was pushing the mid and upper 90s around the metro, with a few areas seeing heat index readings as warm as 102 across southeast Nebraska.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and hot, highs in the lower 90s.

We'll see mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 80s; mostly clear tonight with lows in the low 60s.

Friday will be sunny with a high of 82 and a low of 62. Slight chance for an afternoon shower. Southwest winds up to 5 miles per hour in the evening becoming light.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday, mainly between 2 and 8 p.m.
