At an earlier announcement, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth had said that the company plans to launch three quad-camera smartphones in India. Besides, the smartphone will also have a portrait lens (depth sensor), ultra-wide-angle lens, and a super macro lens. The microsite shows that the Realme 5 series will be equipped with four rear-mounted cameras. The Realme 5 series will launch on August 20th in India. Now, Flipkart has revealed that Realme's latest 5 series smartphones will be launched on August 20 at 12.30 PM. The single piece of useful information that we have come to know about the Realme 5 services is that one of the devices will come with a quad-camera setup on the rear side which would include a primary sensor, a secondary depth sensor, an ultra-wide sensor and another ultra wide-angle sensor as well. The device is likely to launch in multiple color variants with a plastic gradient back panel just like the Realme X and the Realme 3 Pro. While there is no official confirmation on the names of those three smartphones, the rumor mill is speculating that it could be Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro and Realme X Pro smartphones. As for the megapixel count or other details on the sensor of the camera, Realme has not let out a word about it.

The sensors will come with a larger aperture and pixel size, helping the Realme 5 smartphones to offer top-notch imaging technology. The third one is a super macro lens with a focal length of 4cm.

There is a Smart-ISO which help the sensor intelligently to select the correct ISO to match the needs of the environment. The mechanism uses a high ISO in darker settings to reduce noise, resulting in clearer pictures.

Flipkart also has a six-second teaser video, which gives a closer look at the camera setup on this upcoming device. Also, the Realme smartphone with the new 64-megapixel sensor could come out as Realme X Pro, which will be the successor to the original Realme X. While showcasing their 64-megapixel camera tech in New Delhi last week, the company had also revealed that it will unveil two new quad camera smartphones. The Realme 5 that is expected to be priced under Rs. 10,000 is unlikely to feature the 64-megapixel lens.
