"She's competitive. She knows when to push me and when to leave me alone".

In the first trailer, Nicole (Scarlett Johansson) lists what she loves about her husband, Charlie: "He loves being a dad, nearly annoying how much he loves it. He rarely gets defeated, which I always feel like I do".

In the second clip, Charlie (Adam Driver), shares the best things about his wife, Nicole: "She's a great dancer, infectious".

Lest you think Netflix is only about rom-coms as of late, Noah Baumbach's Marriage Story is here to show you what sometimes happens a few years down the line, after the grand gestures and the big damn kiss.

Jamie Foxx & Katie Holmes Reportedly Split After 6 Years
The 51-year-old actor's new love interest Sela Vave , 21, has been staying at his home for weeks, a source claimed to Radar. Jamie and Katie were first rumored to be dating in 2013, just a year after Katie's very public split from Tom Cruise .

Baumbach said in a statement: "Marriage Story is a love story that reveals itself within the breakdown". Both trailers end with a shot of the couple at divorce proceedings.

Baumbach, who brought us movies like Frances Ha and The Squid and the Whale, knows how to pack an emotional punch and that's exactly what these dual trailers are doing. Noah Baumbach (the director, producer, and writer of the movie) explained why he made a decision to show the POV of both characters of Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver. It will be released on Netflix and in theaters this fall. "There are many sides to every story, and the movie embraces these different viewpoints in order to find the shared truth", he added.

It's no wonder that Netflix is showing Marriage Story off at the festival circuit (the film is set to make its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival later this month) and positioning the film for an awards-season theatrical release.

The film stars Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver as married couple Nicole and Charlie.
