The Mi A3's key highlights feature a triple rear camera setup and a waterdrop-shaped display notch. The phone is being teased on Amazon India, so its availability there is a given.

Xiaomi Mi A3 will be available in three colours - Blue, White, and Grey. The successor to the Mi A2, launched early past year has arrived and the new Android One powered Mi A3 has earlier been launched in other markets including Spain, last month. This is after the company posted a new teaser on its official Facebook page and Twitter account. Xiaomi, during the launch of Mi CC9, said that the smartphone was designed by art students.

The Mi A3 has been launched in the country with price starting at Rs 12,999 for 4GB+64GB storage variant, and the larger 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 15,999. In what appears to be an error, human or otherwise, Amazon India listed two models of Mi A3 on its site along with the pricing.

The Mi A3 has its roots in the Mi CC9e that was launched last month in China as a stripped down variant of the Mi CC9. It should launch in India in the same colour options and the price tag should be in the same range as well, barring the difference of government taxes and duties.

County Finds More Mosquitos Infected with West Nile Virus
The Salt Lake County Health Department announced the county's first-known human case of West Nile Virus for 2019. Mild symptoms, including fever, headache, and body aches, usually occur between two to 15 days after infection.

Under the hood, the Mi A3 is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM.

The Mi A3 has a 6-inch AMOLED display with an HD+ resolution, which is surprising since previous Mi A-series smartphones had an FHD+ display. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Being an Android One phone, it runs stock Android out-of-the-box instead of MIUI. Upfront, there is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 is backed up by a 4,030mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
